What is Radish Health?
It's a root vegetable or a great garnish for salads, but in all seriousness, we're a radically different approach to employee health and wellness. We combine a dedicated physician with an easy-to-use app to become the first call of any healthcare need. So our patients put down WebMD and Google and stop thinking they have cancer. They don't run to the local ER or urgent care or try to book an appointment for a specialist that can be taken care of by a generalist. They have one person they can reach out to, which is their Radish physician, for all of their healthcare needs. What's more is this doctor not only can provide them great clinical guidance, paired with our care guides, they're able to give them great financial guidance on the next steps in care if they need them. So if you need a CAT scan, you need an outpatient surgery, we'll make sure that we'll send you to quality centers to get it at a cost that's affordable to you and lowest using your existing health plan.
How is Radish Health different?
Well, first of all, we hire our own doctors as W2 employees full-time. So our patients are their primary responsibility. That allows us to control the quality, and more so, it allows us to control how many patients those doctors have to see in a day. Second, we make sure that you have omnichannel access to your doctor. You can text your doctor. You can call your doctor. You can book an appointment to do a virtual visit with your doctor. Third, for employers with folks in one area, 100 or more, we're able to augment the doctor experience with an on-site nurse-run clinic. So now imagine you book an appointment, you walk down the hall. You're greeted by a Radish nurse who takes your vital signs, is able to send audio clips of your heart and lung sounds or images of your throat or ears to your doctor, is able to draw your blood work, and send you back to the workplace. In 15 to 30 minutes, you're able to get anything from a minor visit taken care of to an annual physical, and you're back at work.
Who is a good fit for Radish Health?
So we primarily work with mid-market employers. Now, this is different to different folks, so definition-wise, we think of that as a couple hundred to a couple thousand lives. We like to work with employers that have folks in one area, 100 or more on one site. The reason being, this allows us to augment our service of the on-site clinic. And then finally, we work mostly with self-funded or level-funded employers, those that are taking direct risk for cost of care, because not only are we a great employee health solution for access to care, but also a great cost containment strategy. So like a Radish, we're a great garnish to your existing benefit offering.
